EIFS est compos\u00e9 d'un panneau isolant thermique en tant que mat\u00e9riau principal, fabriqu\u00e9 en polystyr\u00e8ne expans\u00e9 ou en laine min\u00e9rale. Il contient \u00e9galement une colle pour fixer le panneau isolant au support. Il est ensuite recouvert d'une couche de base en ciment avec un renfort en fibre de verre tiss\u00e9e et d'une couche de finition color\u00e9e
